Rouleur is a quarterly magazine published by Rapha that showcases the beauty and drama of the world's greatest sport. From issue one, their ambition has been to provide a deeper insight into road cycle racing and their approach to documenting the sport is unlike any other publication on the newstand. |
Rouleur is now an award-winning magazine, receiving acclaim from reviewers and readers alike, because it portrays the sport in ways that have never been attempted before. Unflinching and unique, Rouleur consistently uses the best writers and photographers in the business and the results are presented in a magazine of unparalleled quality. Contributors include The Guardian writers William Fotheringham and Matt Seaton, as well as Graeme Fife and former Clash road manager Johnny Green. Among the photographers are John Vink and Guy le Querrec.
The Photo Annual
Following the success of Rouleur's first photography annual, released in October 2007, Rouleur decided to collect some of their favourite photos in a second annual. The photographs are not taken from Rouleur issues - the images within are only in the annual, the issue images are something else.
Check out what GQ magazine had to say about it below.
"Beautiful reportage photography is only half of the Rouleur Annual - the narrative passages eloquently explain the sensibility of each of the races covered in its pages. It’s no surprise the Annual is fabulous to look at, but its other achievement is to immerse the reader in the sweat, pain, colour, mud, speed and charm of road racing. Quite simply, it makes you want to get on your bike and ride it."
