First and foremost Twin Six is a design driven cycle apparel company based out of Minneapolis in the US, who love to ride, and believe that the time is long overdue for better cycling jersey graphics. They are Twin Six, the graphic revolution in cycling apparel. It is their goal to be the alternative to everything else. The gear riders pull on is a statement of their style, identity and self, yet the industry's slow uphill grind to better graphics has turned them into unwilling billboards, moving color explosions and unfortunate cartoon characterizations. Twin Six has seen enough. Twin Six jerseys carry graphics with a fashion DNA. Styles that spring from real graphic trends, not the predictable regurgitation of last year's predictable regurgitation. Twin Six is two determined graphic designers doing what they do best, so we can all finally ride with pride.

Really like what Twin Six are doing in terms of their designs for cycling apparel, and their casual wear is great looking too. Had a tough choice picking from their designs, but with my wardrobe getting a bit blue/grey/brown, as it tends to if I buy clothes on autopilot, I thought a bit of red would cheer things up. I am a typical ‘large’ when it comes to clothes and that’s what I opted for here. It has to be said that the American sizing is definitely in evidence. When unpacking this along with a Morvelo t-shirt and laying them flat to compare, they could have been 2 sizes different - the Morvelo a definite slim-fit.When it’s on, the t-shirt is actually very comfortable, in a slightly baggy sort of way – we’re not talking Manchester circa 1989 here, but it is generously cut. It’s also a bit longer than most other t-shirts I own, so would be a good option for taller people. The print, the cotton and the construction are all top notch, and the little logo detail at the bottom of the back is a nice touch too. Would certainly recommend this tee, but if you feel like you might be between sizes, then probably best to round down.

Having ridden the Alpe d'huez last year with friends, I wanted to buy this tee as soon as I saw it. It brings back all the memories of the ride, and really does look good on. I bought a medium as I have a 38" chest and this fits fine. Now I just have to ride it again.....
