smaller than expected
I have had a EWR Merino Messenger hoodie for ages & seeing as its getting raggedy round the edges wanted a new top which would replace it, not make me look like a hobo anymore & be as good on the bike as off. This I am certain will do that for me, its well constructed, its the little details that matter & when your forking out a few clams you want something that doesn't look like it will fall apart after one time wearing it. The Main zipper could be slightly chunkier & a two way zip would have been nicer for those moments on the bike when you need the warmth up top to stay in but need to let some of it out at the same time, at the bottom of the jacket, as well as letting out the extra belly girth you took on after eating too much pie & ale at your last rest-stop. One tip I have for those little teardrop hideaway zips is never fully take them all the way down, cos if they do come off there a royal pain to get back on, so as daft as it sounds, back off a little when using them & you will get a lot more wear 'n' tear out of them. I've had the jacket about 3 weeks now & as the cold weather is now hitting us I am finding the jacket worth its money in keeping the chill out. On or off the bike - its minimalism stylishness works. Its true to size - something I prefer. I'm hoping the sleeve ends hold up well after wear 'n' tear sets in. It keeps you warm without over-heating you. If its anything like my EWR I'm probably gonna find I'm wearing it pretty much all the time which is what I want from an item of clothing.
