The Chrome Kursk is an ideal low profile cycling shoe designed for riders who want one pair of shoes to cope with their commute and work day, and who don't want to change their shoes off the bike for a seamless transition from cycling to walking.

Built with all of the support and details you need for riding, like a lace shoe garage, a reflective rear, and a board-lasted sole with a fiberglass shank, yet flexible enough to provide a natural walking gait off the bike.

Chrome started life in Boulder, Colorado over 14 years ago, when a couple of local guys needed some bags, but just couldn't find anything to meet their needs or standards. Frustrated by the lack of supply, they went in search for the toughest materials they could find, broke out the needles, and the rest as they say, is history.

After awhile, the word was out that Chrome was making the best messenger bags around, so what started as a product born out of necessity, developed into a business with the core ethic of making only the best bags, and now apparel possible.

Eventually Chrome upped bags, backpacks and office and moved to San Francisco, a city with a burgeoning urban cycling scene. As business grew, their in demand Chrome Bags were joined by biycle apparel, gear and cycling shoes. Chrome products began to appear up from Brooklyn to Berlin to Tokyo.

What matters today is what mattered in the garage – building products that work, and standing behind everything they make.

ideal city ride shoes

Love this shoes, not only for riding but for everyday usage. Really like the design and colors selection as well as the stiffness when riding a fixed bike. I would suggest them to every bike commuter.

Sturdy Souls

Impressed with these shoes, they are well made and feel "right". Nice thick sole for protection. Had them a few weeks now and they are comfy and have the advantage of looking the business too.

Sizing

Hey I'm looking to get a pair of Chrome Kursks. What size would I need in order to fit some UK size 11.5 feet? Thanks Nigel

Thanks for the question - you are between a 47 (11) and a 47.5 (12). If you have another EU sized shoe, then it might be worth checking that size to see which of these two you are. However, I think a 47.5 might be a good option.
