In Chrome's words, the Loop 3/4 Knicker is without a doubt the best thing you can put between you and your saddle. After five years of testing and redesign, and with every useful feature you could think of and a great new fabric, these are perfect for long rides and to take on all of the elements.

Featuring a 4-way stretch water repellent fabric, the Chrome Loop 3/4 Shorts are very well thought out, offering the rider on the go all he needs for the city commute, trail rides, or weekend trips that take in more of 'bar interior' than wheel revolutions. One nice touch is the inclusion of an ultra light cycling chamois, but you will also notice the adjustable legs, plethora of pockets, and reflective safety details during your ride.

Chrome started life in Boulder, Colorado over 14 years ago, when a couple of local guys needed some bags, but just couldn't find anything to meet their needs or standards. Frustrated by the lack of supply, they went in search for the toughest materials they could find, broke out the needles, and the rest as they say, is history.

After awhile, the word was out that Chrome was making the best messenger bags around, so what started as a product born out of necessity, developed into a business with the core ethic of making only the best bags, and now apparel possible.

Eventually Chrome upped bags, backpacks and office and moved to San Francisco, a city with a burgeoning urban cycling scene. As business grew, their in demand Chrome Bags were joined by biycle apparel, gear and cycling shoes. Chrome products began to appear up from Brooklyn to Berlin to Tokyo.

What matters today is what mattered in the garage – building products that work, and standing behind everything they make.

Style over substance?

True to size

Wonderful looking pair of 3/4 shorts but be careful 'water repellant' does not mean water proof. A 40 min ride yesterday in a moderate rain shower and I had a wet a*se for the whole day. They look and feel great but for
