Chrome started life in Boulder, Colorado over 14 years ago, when a couple of local guys needed some bags, but just couldn't find anything to meet their needs or standards. Frustrated by the lack of supply, they went in search for the toughest materials they could find, broke out the needles, and the rest as they say, is history.
After awhile, the word was out that Chrome was making the best messenger bags around, so what started as a product born out of necessity, developed into a business with the core ethic of making only the best bags, and now apparel possible.
Eventually Chrome upped bags, backpacks and office and moved to San Francisco, a city with a burgeoning urban cycling scene. As business grew, their in demand Chrome Bags were joined by biycle apparel, gear and cycling shoes. Chrome products began to appear up from Brooklyn to Berlin to Tokyo.
What matters today is what mattered in the garage – building products that work, and standing behind everything they make.

What's not to like! Superb super versatile, robust typical bombproof bag from Chrome. Roll top is light, quick easy and to secure from the elements. I've not used this style before, but because it's construction is light it profiles the rest of pack to remain slim and streamline. Straps are well placed and secure to do all you need on the bike. Looks smart, tidy and not out of place on the road or in the office.

A working soft waterproof backpack

I use this one to carry my working clothes while commuting fast. It does keep my clothes dry which was the bottom line buying this article, it is also nice and light to carry if you do no load it too much. Remember it is all soft, there is no rigid back, so you have to load it accordingly (no shoes or jars on the back otherwise you´ll feel them on your back!). A belly strap would help stabilizing the back in quick curves.
