One of the newest models to hit the Chrome Pro shoe range, the SPD Truk Pro Shoe is a 1000 denier Cordura constructed city cycling shoe, complete with full recessed SPD compatibility, making it an ideal choice to wear throughout the day, on and off the bike.

Featuring a stiffened power transfer sole and a 100% vulcanized construction, the Truk Pro  offers a supporting rubber heel cup, internal back padding and sturdy lace aglets. A reflective rear heel tab ideally placed for low light visibility completes the shoe.

Size note - whilst many riders do find the fit of Chrome shoes to be true to size, if you are between sizes, taking one EU size down is a good idea for a perfect fit.

Finally a shoe I can use all day with my bike, that doesn't make me look like some biking nerf herder or that has my cleats skidding every which way on hard surfaces (I use Time pedals, so have teeny cleats). I think with Shimano stuff though the cleats might still stick out a touch too far, but hey, use Time!
I have only ridden a couple of times in these - they were delivered before the email even reached me saying they were on their way! - and going around town, popping into stores etc these are awesome. The forefoot flexes like a stiff skate shoe for running up and down stairs but the footbed when clipped in gives such a strong platform. Well done Chrome.
The only downside with these is my heels don't quite fit, there's a little lift but not too much to bug me in the saddle, but it's there. And I took a half size down (EU size), aside from that they fit just like other clip in shoes. They would have been five stars if only the heel cup held a little better.
So don't think, just get them! but definitely get a half size or more (EU) lower than regular.
Awesome looking shoes that work - at least with my Time pedals. And delivered exceptionally quickly, so a big thanks for that!

    Size not able to fit
SPD sticks out beyond the sole
Always Riding do not allow fitting to bicycle to test sizing

    Good delivery
    Well made shoe

Purchased half an EU size down and found them to be much to large. Returned them for a smaller size, which was then too small. Was informed that because I had fitted them to my bike to check the size, which is what they are used for. That the returned product was unsaleable and would not be replaced.

Sizing on this item is very poor and Always Riding will not let you test out the size once ordered which makes this a high risk purchase.

Beyond that the shoes are sold as SPD walking shoes, but a normal SPD will stick out beyond the sole of the shoe and 'tap' the ground. A-Tac cleats are apparently much better, they should perhaps be called A-Tac Truc Pro's in my opinion.

I would not recommend these shoes, 2 stars because build quality looks nice if you find the right size (good luck) and then don't use them for walking.

I have been using these shoes for half a year now and they broke in just fine. Though I still have problems when I'm wearing them all day long, my feet start to hurt a lot and the shoes don't breathe at all, which is kind of annoying in warm weather. They look great and feel great when on the bike though.

Great shoes! Order half a UK size down (1 EU size) for a perfect fit.
Pretty good to walk in, but watch out for your cleats if using SPD. Slightly disappointed the cleat isn't as fully recessed as I'd expected. They still click and grind on the ground. Perhaps it's my positioning. I hear Time ATAC cleats are smaller so might fit completely within the recess better; I've not tried yet.

I only tested these shoes indoors but I could tell directly that they were too big. I've measured my feet and I should be a 42 on the dot. So I ordered a pair of the 42 but they were way too big. Th0ye slipped really bad in the heel when walking around.

Can't really comment on how they are on the bike though, but as they are designed to function in both categories I can't give more than 3 stars.

I find my cycling specific MTB-shoes a lot easier to walk in, of course, this is because my pair were way too big.
