The Craft Cool Bike Boxer is an essential addition to your cycling wardrobe if you are commuting to work or heading out for a relaxed ride.
Sometimes it can be a drag putting on your lycra shorts just so you can cycle in comfort. However, Craft's Bike Boxer will see you riding unfettered by lycra, and far more comfortable sipping a latte at a street cafe 'sans' lycra. Looking like a standard boxer short, the Craft Bike Boxer is actually a highly breathable pair of high performance bike pants with an integrated anti bacterial chamois. Pop them on under your favourite riding 3/4 shorts or jeans and feel the benefit of chamois comfort whilst you ride in your everyday clothes.

There is not too much padding on the boxers which is a good thing if you're planning also to walk around in these. Quick drying and comfortable.
by Andrew Mawby from United Kingdom on 19/09/2011
really good biek boxer. These are actuallty cut for a cyclist - they don't bunch around the tops of teh thighs like certain other brands, (which are cut too narrow around teh thighs for non cyclists). These are made of a sportswear type material, so feel like cyclign shorts rather than boxer shorts, but are comfortable adn ideal for the task they are designed for.

excellent product, it is the first to stand (or to help me stand) the summer in Tel-Aviv
by Paul from United Kingdom on 30/06/2011
I have done a couple of rides in these short (about 6 miles) and longer commutes of around 12 miles and they have kept me cool during the recent heatwave and comfortable, I was expecting to feel the saddle a bit more due to the thinner pad but it holds up very well.
Would I buy another pair, yes I would.

Cool bike =))
by RICHARD HOWARD from United Kingdom on 26/04/2011
These are great for short rides only,I bought them to wear under everyday clothes so I could comfortably cycle to work with out having to wear my cycling shorts and being ribbed when I got to work,Good value and Great fit I bought another pair. I change to normal boxers for the rest of the day

I've used various undershorts incl Altura and DHB but they inevitably bunch up and cause discomfort. These craft shorts are superb - really well made and the chamois pad works well. No discomfort with these! I also use the unpadded version of craft undershorts for running and they are superb too.

excellent under all your favourite non cycling trousers. very quick to dry after wash. I highly recommend this item

Excellent product; Excellent service!
by bunkerman from United Kingdom on 09/11/2010
Superb item to wear under any non-cycling specific trouser - baggy shorts, water proof trousers, jogging pants even jeans, for those who want to cycle in comfort but don't want to stand out in lycra. Especially useful if you don't want to look too 'cycley' and even more so if you don't want to look too 'cycley' (but still want the comfort of a padded seat)and are stopping off at a pub for a beer or 3 and maybe a spot of lunch on your ride out.
by John Dove from United Kingdom on 05/11/2010
These Craft cool bike boxers are such a good buy, every pair of casual shorts can then be worn for cycling, down to the pub a little shopping perhaps or if you wish a fair old run down the road very well made and very comfortable
by John Luther from United States on 28/07/2010
This is a great liner and perfect for warm weather due to its light weight.
The waist is tight fitting but not uncomfortable.
Overall a great value and I'll certainly be trying out more of the Craft line.
by Rich Cassidy from United Kingdom on 22/06/2010
The best padded shorts I've found for wearing under regular shorts/trousers when you don't want turn up wearing lycra. Great for longer commutes etc. Really nice fit too - snug but not too tight.
by Lalou from United Kingdom on 05/05/2010
The difference between undershorts with a quality pad and my previous DHB undershorts is truly amazing, ultra comfortable , would echo the sentiments of previous reviews that they could do with being slightly longer, but to use them under jeans etc is ideal, highly recommended
by chris from United Kingdom on 18/03/2010
Comfy. Cushioning is helpful. Absorbant. Quick to dry after wash.
by matt_99 from Australia on 10/03/2010
Great for hot weather as they are very cool and wick well. Work well under regular pants - chamois doesn't bulge out like some other undershorts.Only complaint is that the legs are short and tend to ride up on the inside. This is less as a problem then it sounds because the fabric is so thin, but it gets annoying on longer rides. For commuting/short rides these are great. For longer rides, not a substitute for proper shorts.
by TomTime from United Kingdom on 12/02/2010
ideal if you don't want to wear lycra, these make a real difference on longer rides. Not too comfy off the bike, but spot on under my SWRVE jeans
by kyllonem from Finland on 05/02/2010
These are soooou handy as you can put e.g. your running pants/shorts and still get the padding when cyckling. I have also thought of using these in Alpine skiing because the padding protects your bottom when falling down and also warms the bottom in skilifts (which are sometimes very clod). The padding is not visible with most of the over trousers. Very handy!

Extremely nice, got these as an alternative to lycra, and they are perfect.
by Speedysnail from United Kingdom on 07/08/2009
This is a seriously great product. Freed from lycra, I can now wear my nice new swrve 3/4 shorts with these underneath and commute to work in comfort. Thanks Always Riding!
by Speed Jockey from United Kingdom on 07/08/2009
Just got myself a pair of these and they are extremely comfortable. Highly recommended for any rider who hasn't got natural rear padding or anyone who hasn't yet acclimatised to razor racing saddles. With these pants I have also found a renewed confidence in my ability to facilitate the production of my future progeny. Good work! My waist is about a 32" - should I go for a small or medium? Also, how stretchy is this around the thighs?
posted by Andy on 15th August 2011
Thanks for the question - we would recommend a medium for sure. The fabric is relatively stretchy on the legs, so as long as they are sized correctly, you will have a very comfortable fit. They could definitely be worn all day under trousers or commuting wear.
