Craft's Performance Featherlight Jacket is a supremely 'featherlight' jacket that builds on the success of Craft's now retired 'Light Jacket' and which for this year rocks a DWR - Durable Water Repellant finish and wind protective front, making it an ideal stowaway cycling jacket for showery conditions.
The Performance Bike Featherlight Jacket is a great example of Craft's well known rider friendly attention to detail, offering the cyclist well placed reflectivity (360 degree visible no less), a warm microfibre collar, a small rear pocket for snacks, and an elastic mesh fabric rear for enhanced ventilation.
Worn from the outset, or pulled out of a rear jersey pocket for long descents and changing conditions, it is the ideal cycling jacket for long descents and cool all season rides.

Ideal jacket for back pocket

This is my first lightweight jacket and it is great for throwing in a back pocket. I have only worn it twice so far but it kept the rain and wind out on both occasions. It does feel quite flimsy and the pouch it packs into does not look like it will last -(the tie has already riped the sealand the coat falls out ) so slightly worried this wasn't the best lightweight jacket to buy.

Lightweight and good fit

Bought this to replace my Craft Performance Light Jacket which fell out of my jersey pocket and was lost. The featherlight jacket is just as light, but has more water resistance. Breathability is good due to the side panels and rear vents. I really like Craft jackets because I can wear medium and the arms are still long enough. Giving it 4 stars because my old jacket was red and that colour is not available in the featherlight jacket.

Nice & Light

I do rate Craft I think a lot of their products are of good quality. This jacket is ideal for sticking in the back pocket, it is very light and breathable. The fit is good, I like my jackets to be nice and snug, why would you want a jacket that is flapping about in the wind......A good jacket ....recommended.

Excellent product

A great product that does what it says it will. Excellent 'race cut' fit that is exactly right on hoods or drops. Only downside there is that the collar could be a bit closer fitting or have adjustment or elastic. As an emergency windproof and shower garment it works very well - I wouldn't buy as a main waterproof. I've been caught out in an absolute deluge and whilst it felt quite cold and clung to my bare arms, when I got off after 20 mins, I was basically dry underneath. Vented panels work well, when worn as a wind stopper, I haven't been too hot. Packs away into rear pocket with ease and it is seriously small (cigarette pack size) and light. One more point for improvement would be a couple of 'drain' holes at the bottom of the rear pocket - when in rain, the pocket collects quite a bit of water.
