This collection features advanced moisture transportation, breathability and ergonomics.  THIS IS THE ultimate lightweight if you’re looking for something to always carry with you. Only the Castelli is lighter, and that doesn’t pack down small and neat like the Craft does into its back pocket. A drawstring secures the pouch and it’s no bigger than a couple of gels to tuck into the back of a jersey. You only know you’re wearing this because the wind chill has completely vanished. It’s shower resistant too, though heavier rain soon gets through. The fit is good, if a little long in the front for racier riding positions. The pay-off for the lightweight is some rustle in the wind at speed and flapping around the shoulders, but for occasional use this is great. Top value, ultra-light and compact windproof for dry occasional use 8/10  Gilet’s are fantastic items of clothing to have in your cycle clothing wardrobe (you do have a separate wardrobe for your cycle clothing don't you?) for changeable conditions such as we are experiencing at the moment. They keep the elements off you without the extra bulk of a jacket.
Craft’s Performance Light Vest is an ultra-lightweight offering that fits the bill for a gilet that you might start the ride in, but finish with it stashed in a jersey pocket. The windproof material is both light and thin and keeps the wind and rain off your chest and does so impressively well. The close fit means there’s no billowing in the wind, and the good fit is helped by elastic mesh inserts around the back.
The back of the gilet is one large mesh panel to prevent overheating. There’s one small rear pocket should you need extra storage options, and a high fleece lined collar is some comfort and the zipper is lined to keep draughts out.

I found the gillet prefect for training rides in the evenings. Keeps wind off chest but does'nt trap in the heat. 44inch chest and got a large its tight but that's the way i like im.

An excellent gilet. I bought it to replace a similar priced Mavic gilet. The Craft gilet fits better and packs down smaller, but still gives excellent wind protection. Definitely recommended.

I CAN HIGHLY RECOMMEND CRAFT CLOTHING . IT ALWAYS DELIVERS FULL PERFORMANCE,QUALITY,LOOKS,FIT. I AM 6ft/2ins WITH A 38/40 ins CHEST. I BOUGHT THE M SIZE AND ITS FIT WAS GREAT. VERY LIGHT AND IT KEPT ME VERY WARM. I WOULD HIGHLY RECOMMEND IT. I WILL BE BUYING ANOTHER BECAUSE I WAS KNOCKED OFF MY BIKE AND HOSPITALIZED . WITH 12 WEEKS OFF BIKE AT LEAST.THE GILET WAS TORN TO BITS. WILL BUY AS SOON AS M IS IN STOCK . IF YOU RACE BEING SEMI SEE THROUGH RACE JERSEYS AND NUMBERS CAN BE SEEN. 10 OUY OF 10.

It is fitted without being too tight, I am a medium in their jerseys and the medium gilet fitted me perfectly, very light and it packs down very small but still kept the rain off my chest on the way home from work without making me sweaty.

Incredibly light, have used it a couple of times in the recent cold spell and it seems to be highly effective. I would certainly recommend it.

Nice fitting, highly visible gillet, perfect for dark, grey wintery mornings when it's not too chilly. Paired with a Craft zero extreme base layer and elite ws l/s jersey this combination is good to about 5 degrees.

Very wheel adapted to the body, I like the colour (Yellow) and the rear part allowing the moiture elimination. Vey light and easy to carry in the pocket. The neck is very wheel enginered

Great gilet, the neck is snug with good front wind proofing. No problems with overheating with the mesh back. Never leaves the back pocket of my jersey (tiny pack size), great for evenings and early mornings.

Fit is just right, and close fitting. I have no problems with flapping around shoulders. waterproof, windproof and breathable. collar fit also spot on, with fleece lining for comfort. Zip seems good quality. Very light and stuffable. would have liked to have a stuff sack with it but otherwise faultless.

Bought the gilet for my husband who road races. Small was good fit (37" chest)& no flapping, but unecessary silly pouch on back which prevents race number being seen. Luckily was easily removed!

It kept me warm on a sunny but very windy day on the bike. Nice tight fit. It has some reflective dots so the colour (black) is no problem.

I cycle approx 150 to 200 miles a week. The first time out with the gilet it was a 60 mile cycle on a damp, windy, cold morning, and also 1hr of rain.The gilet kept me warm and dry, rain rolled off its surface, and the mesh back vented well. I kept the gilet on for the duration of the ride as I did not over heat. Its a great buy at the price and seems to be well made. It does have some reflective dots on the fabric and a small rear pocket where an LED light could be attached.

Never used a Gilet before and the ones I had looked at seemed on the expensive side. However, very impressed. On a cool start to a local sportive this Craft Gilet was excellent. Very light, comfortable, great fitting and kept the early morning cool at bay. And at a good price as well! Only gave it the four stars rather than 5 because I have no gilet to compare it with but hey I won't be buying an alternative. Very happy with this one!
