Got these from Santa and they are great gloves. Living in Scotland, it's certainly kept out the cold on rides into work. The only niggle is the seem on the liner as it can dig into the skin between your thumb and forefinger unless not positioned right. Great gloves though, would recommend.

Just a couple of rides so far in these, first one at about 12c and second at 6c. A bit too warm on the first ride. Still plenty warm enough on the second ride without the liners. Reckon they'd be good for proper sub zero temps with the liners in.

The most reliable cold weather gloves I've used. Unfortunately I have big hands and the sizing isn't generous - nevertheless compared to my Gore Radiators these are still my first choice for sub-zero rides. Used at minus 8 and still been able to open the doors when arriving at work! If they fit you, you can't fault them below zero.

I was lucky my wife took heed of my constant hinting and bought these as one of my Christmas presents.
I was immediately impressed with the quality of the gloves and couldn't wait to try them on the bike. Wow, they are the warmest cycling gloves I've ever owned especially with the inner glove liner (which when I got home I only realised is a 5 finger glove as oppose to the split fingers of the main glove).
I did wonder if I would feel strange while riding with my fingers split but after slightly adjusting how I hold the brake hoods whilst climbing I was fine.
If all Craft products are this quality, then I can see myself buying more items.

Very pleased with these gloves, they've seen me through early morning winter commutes, good till around -2 for me.
Well made and are lasting fine after 2 months daily use,
the seperate liner helps them to dry quickly and prevents the dreaded wet inner coming outer scenario.

As soon as the temperature drops my fingers are always the sufferers in the saddle, and now finally, after numerous investments in 'Winter gloves' I have found in the Craft Thermal Lobster Glove true warmth.....Now I've got no excuse not to ride during the Winter season.....

I have searched high and low for decent gloves and I think I may have found them. I've paid a lot more for gloves but these have performed better than all I have worn before. Great gloves but sizing, as ever in cycling, is a bit on the small side. I would recommend these gloves but if your are a snug fit go for the larger size. I can wear these as a large but a little more around the wrist and some give, the stretch to the brakes does feel a little cramped, would make them perfect.
They have performed well in the cold and damp but haven't tested them in the full on wet. So far so good.

Having used these gloves quite a lot, I give them a working temperature from +5 to -3 degrees (excluding windchill) which is when my fingers start to get cold. If it's warmer, you can stuff the liners in your back pocket, which also makes it easier to handle the controls. Stretching for the brakes is slightly inhibited on my mountain bike, but no problem on road bike.

I wish I had a whole suit made from the material that these are made from. On the 2 rides I've done since owning them my hands have stayed warm. Brilliant.

The are the warmest gloves I have ever had. They are the absolute nuts! I went out in freezing teperaturs yeserday and it was like having your hands in an electric blanket. I'd go for a large size, as the split in the middle of the mit is a little tight. I soon got used to the lobster style of outer glove and by the end of the ride I was breaking and changing gear without a care in the word. Do your hands a favour and get these! PS - excellent service from Always Riding too!

Excellent!! Suffering from "cold hands" from my early bikeriding days I now have found the only working glove in cold conditions. Yesterday it was -6 C going to work (10km), weatherchange during the day, and a whopping -16 C going home (with windfactor for 20 km/h gives you -25 C).
Didn't go to fast but nevertheless, the gloves did what they are supposed to do - keep my hands out of the cold. Highly recomended product.

only recently purchased but so far so good... if you are in between sizes go bigger.... the glove has performed well in the cold weather...recommended

I have been riding a 30 minute commute for the last two weeks. Minus 2 to 5 most days equates to well below minus 10 with wind chill. These gloves are awesome kept the cold out where many other "sub Zero" gloves have failed!!

eindelijk een paar fijne handschoenen, heb vrij gauw last van koude handen en heb nooit echt goede hanschoenen gehad maar deze zijn helemaal top.....

I bought these in response to the bitterly cold weather at the end of November and was not disappointed! Whereas my old gloves had left my finger tips numb and painful, these odd-looking things keep me toasty and snug all the way to work.
The idea is brilliant and simple - keeping two fingers together lets them keep one another warm in their own little pod and keeps out the cold.
I feel a bit sorry for Mr Thumb, as he's all on his own (and gets a little cool at the end of a long ride) but overall these gloves are great.
The removable fleece liner is a nice addition, and presumably allows you to wash the important part of the glove without sacrificing its finish.

It was -6degC this morning. A 20 mile commute and my hands stayed toasty the whole way. Not sweaty, just warm. I think these would cope with lower, even though they really don't look like they should. They aren't bulky or thick - in fact I was very sceptical when I saw them!
It is worth thinking about how you hold the bars for the type of riding you do. These do mean I have to adjust how I ride on the hoods of the road bike, but are fine on the drops and the MTB - a small price to pay for the warmth.
The only issue - I bought a medium size based on the sizing guide. They are OK, but a bit tight and the split in the fingers dug in. I may sell these and get a large or hope that they stretch a bit.
Definitely recommended though!

I really suffer from cold hands and often just the 2 mile commute to work can almost put me in tears when the temperature drops. I have tried various gloves from Specialized, Endura, Gill and HH and so far they are doing the trick during the first cold snap of the year.
A bonus is that if any driver cuts you up you only need to put your thumb into your palm and wave your hand. Instant insult given....
by John Brian Clough from United Kingdom on 17/11/2010
Strange looking, but does the trick. I thought I may struggle shifting but I don't. I can wriggle my fingers and I think the movement helps keep fingers warm. I will take them skiing too.
by Kjell Pettersson from Sweden on 27/10/2010
Fantastic gloves ! They're comfortable and keep my hands warm when it´s really cold. I´ve used them down to -5 degrees so far and not a hint of freezing !
by Paul Brooks from United Kingdom on 03/02/2010
Fantastic winter gloves. I have real circulation problems and my hands always go numb when the temperature is even approaching freezing. I have tried loads of gloves (including from Craft, Sealskinz, Pearl Izumi, etc, etc) and these are by far and away the best at keeping my hands from freezing. Thoroughly recommended. Will you be getting these back in stock in size L please? If so, do you know when?
Thanks.

Thanks for the question - I'm afraid that all of the stock in Europe is now sold out, and we are unable to get anymore until February 2011. However, the Craft Siberian Glove is still available in large, and this is an excellent winter cycling glove.
