In parts of Northern France and Belgium there exist roads made of cobblestones that have lasted for centuries. DeFeet made ArmSkins to stand up to the punishment that these roads and the inclement weather dish out.
The way to tell if an arm warmer is up to the job is the slip test - if it starts coming down mid ride you've got a problem. However, in this regard DeFeet are pretty confident about their abilities (showing skin between your arm warmer and jersey is simply not done), and proudly proclaim that there hasn't been a road or trail made that will upset the fit of the ArmSkins.
Soft and super stretchy, the DeFeet Merino Wool ArmSkin, whether worn from the outset or kept in a rear jersey pocket for drops in temperature, is simply a ride essential for changeable conditions.

Size comment: "True to size"
Really pleased with the fit and construction of these arm warmers, they've got some good length and being wool, should take a fair bit of abuse. They're nice a long, almost stretching from wrist to armpit! No chance of a chilly gap between these and your short-sleeve jersey. Tested out on some over-night rides so far, probably a touch warm in May, even at 3am on a Sunday morning in the Peaks... Looking forward to putting in some more miles with them on through the coming winter!

I found these arm skins to be comfortable, to fit well and great when used on a rapid decent in doing their job - keeping my arms warm. When not in use I have taken them off and tucked them into my cycling top pockets where they fitted easily.

Hello Always Riding - is the L/XL of the Armskin, the same width as the S/M, just longer?
Mick, 1st November 2010
Thanks for the question - Yes, the L/XL of the DeFeet ArmSkin is the same width as the S/M, but just over 3 cm longer. The L/XL is a good choice if you have long arms and don\'t want to risk exposing the upper arm or wrist.

No surprises here, DeFeet apparel and accessories offer a realistic, rider ready fit.
