Etxeondo Abrais Glove

When it's cool but not cold, a lightweight glove can be just what you need; one that allows fingertip cockpit control, yet still takes the edge of cool starts. Etxeondo's Abrais glove is just the thing for these situations. Highly fitted and pleasant to the touch, the Thermolite construction does a great job of keeping the chill at bay. Alternatively, the Abrias could be called into action to act as a liner glove for a more comprehensive winter solution, offering the extra cover you need to really guide the bike through deep cold days.

![]() Spanish brand Etxeondo have been in the business of creating performance cycling wear since 1976, and are perhaps most well known for their sponsorship of Pro Tour Team Euskatel and clothing the shoulders of the mighty Miguel Indurain during his time at Banesto. To this day, the entire range, (apart from some accessories which are made in Italy), is still designed and produced in San Sebastian, where the company first started. Etxeondo have a solid reputation for making only the highest quality apparel, designed for the most demanding cyclists, whether they ride road or mountain. Their commitment to research and development is one of the reasons they are regarded as rider staple for European cyclists, who can always count on not only a great fit, but race proven apparel that supports the rider from valley floor to mountain top descent. Usually have trouble getting gloves with long enough fingers that aren't too fat - but these are perfect. Very comfortable, no loose fabric to confound quick gear changes and warm enough for this winter. Not sure whether they would be enough if it got close to freezing, and being Roubaix fabric they aren't at all waterproof, but these have been fine in rides at around 5C. Styling is really understated too, they do double duty as running gloves or just something to wear casually when it's a bit colder.
