Etxeondo Attaque Bib Short
see more from Etxeondo
$367.84
With superb finishing and Eteondo's top of the line Carbono chamois, the Attaqué Bib Short is both comfortable enough to tackle blisteringly hot 200km rides, and tough enough to withstand many seasons of hard rides.
Typical Etxeondo attention to detail is evident straight out of the box, right from the 'inside out' technology bib straps that are soft to the touch and gentle on the shoulders. For the bib body, Power Lycra keeps everything silky smooth, but it is at the ends of the legs that things get really interesting. Etxeondo employed a different fabric to finish the ends of the bib, and on the bike, this translates to a feeling of security of fit, but without the typical over tightening that can sometimes occur. Completing the ends, the interior is dotted with silicon grippers, helping to maintain the leg position throughout the ride. Etxeondo chose to use their Carbono chamois for the Attaqué (yes, they make their own pads, nothing off the shelf here), which not only sports anti bacterial and anti static properties due to the nature of the carbon fibre, but incorporates a clever use of ergonomics and design to fully make use of the 4-way stretch fabric for ultimate comfort over long distances. Worn by both Sean Kelly and Miguel Indurain during their respective careers, and made just outside San Sebastian in the heart of the Basque Country, Etxeondo clothing is designed for everyone who strives to be a Giant of the Road.

初めてエチュオンドのビブショーツ購入でサイズがとても不安でしたが、175cm/70kgの私にはぴったりフィットしました。他社製品をたくさん所有してますが、仕上げ等かなり良くサイズが合えばお勧めです。

The Attaque bib shorts are right up there with shorts from the big boys such as Assos, Castelli and Giordana.
Having used shorts from all three brands I can honestly say the Attaque shorts are not only the most comfortable -
chamois, straps, leg grippers - but the best quality. The lycra used in these shorts just oozes quality and one can just picture the Exteondo worker taking pride in sewing these shorts. It's good to know that companies like Exteondo still manufacture in Spain. The sizing has some latitude because I should have gone for the XL (35 inch waist) but I went for the L. Perfect fit! Firm but not tight. They are expensive, but here in Australia all quality shorts are expensive eg. high end Assos shorts retail around $300 AUD! You guys in the UK should never complain about the cost of cycle clothing! That's why we are such big online buyers. WIth the VAT deducted these shorts are excellent value for me and I certainly will look at a few other Exteondo bits of gear.

These shorts were provided to me by Always Riding to ride the 2,700 Tour Divide mtb race this summer and also used in a tour of Oregon afterwards. I covered about 2,000 miles in 2 months in these shorts and they were incredibly comfortable. The quality of material of the straps and chamois is first class - the best I have ever worn. Possibly a tad shorter in the leg than my other shorts, you will not be disappointed should the price not put you off.
So comfortable I even slept in them one night during 180 miles off road in the Gila wilderness!

The packaging exudes quality and you're not disappointed when you open up the box. Yes, they're expensive, but the craftsmanship is plain to see and is highlighted by the embroidered (rather than transfer) logo. Fit is superb and instant i.e. you don

Lets get the price out of the way. Yes, they are expensive. Yes, probably not ideal for the first pair of bibs you ever buy (but saying that, why not get some of the best?!).
I'm spot on 6ft and 11 and half stone and the large were perfect for me. What strikes me most about these is the quality. They are up there alongside the top of the ranges Assos bibs and perhaps even better. The materials are superb making the wearing of them a real pleasure.
There are some quote flimsy expensive bibs doing the rounds at the moment, but these are, well, luxurious.
Other big plus points: the straps - W I D E ! Which means super comfy and the best of any bibs I have. Also the chamois - very, very well made and comfy.
Overall, I'm delighted with them and would highly recommend you buy some.

Incredibly comfy bib shorts - they took me to the top of the Galibier last week, and although was in trouble, the bib shorts meant I could at least climb in comfort - slowly, but in comfort!
by The Izoard Climber from United States on 17/05/2011
If I could give 6 stars I would - unbelievably comfortable, like sitting on a cushion of air. Combined with the great leg length (not too long, not too short), and really comfy bib straps (you don't even notice they are there) - I would highly recommend it.
My size was a medium, 6ft2 (189cm) - 36" chest.

I cannot begin to say how comfortable these shorts are. I've worn them on several rides, the pad does its job very well and the shorts are a perfect fit (I used the sizing guide). These are certainly the best shorts I've ever owned. I wish I could afford a second pair!
