Etxeondo's Elas Over Shoe (previously called the Goma) is the go-to cycling overshoe for near total waterproof properties, both in terms of the fabric and in preventing rear cleat water ingress. We say near waterproof because whilst the material itself is fully waterproof, the rear cleat areas, although designed to resist water penetration, will not withstand a torrential storm.
For road riders in need of a waterproof overshoe, designed from the ground up to do everything possible to resist water ingress (a tough job when you have to have a hole in the sole for the cleat), then it is an excellent product to choose.
- Waterproof and wind proof rubber construction
- Designed to limit water penetration through the cleat opening
- Sleek, matte design
- Etxeondo logo
- Rear zip opening

Spanish brand Etxeondo have been in the business of creating performance cycling wear since 1976, and are perhaps most well known for their sponsorship of Pro Tour Team Euskatel and clothing the shoulders of the mighty Miguel Indurain during his time at Banesto. To this day, the entire range, (apart from some accessories which are made in Italy), is still designed and produced in San Sebastian, where the company first started.
Etxeondo have a solid reputation for making only the highest quality apparel, designed for the most demanding cyclists, whether they ride road or mountain. Their commitment to research and development is one of the reasons they are regarded as rider staple for European cyclists, who can always count on not only a great fit, but race proven apparel that supports the rider from valley floor to mountain top descent.

These are easy to get on unlike others I've had and they fit nice & snugg. They keep you feet nice and dry on very wet roads. I've not had them long so time will tell how durable they are.

Great piece of kit, has kept my usually frozen toes warm and dry on several sub zero rides. Good stretchy fit, well put together, keep it up Exteondo. As usual great correspondance and quick delivery from Always Riding.
