Spanish brand Etxeondo have been in the business of creating performance cycling wear since 1976, and are perhaps most well known for their sponsorship of Pro Tour Team Euskatel and clothing the shoulders of the mighty Miguel Indurain during his time at Banesto. To this day, the entire range, (apart from some accessories which are made in Italy), is still designed and produced in San Sebastian, where the company first started.

In cold or windy weather I used to ride with 3 buffs around my neck. Do you suffer from the swollen vertebrae at the base of the neck/shoulders after a ride? I'm sure it was partly to do with the cold wind hitting it, despite the buffs! The Letras Headband (worn together with my new Darse Gilet) reduced the discomfort & end-of-ride-swelling by about 75%. The Letras is a very comfortable piece of kit, despite my initial concern that the inner fleece doesn't rest against the neck when worn in neckband mode. I didn't suffer from any irritation from the wool/acrylic being against my skin. I love it, and my wife thinks it looks great as a hat!

Love the 3 in one. Can use it as a hat or neck wrap. Comfy and looks good on or off the bike. Recommended.

This is one of my favorite pieces of winter clothing. On the bike it's great to use as a scarf around your neck or over you lower face, not so good as head-wear when wearing a helmet. Plus they do look fab! Off the bike it's great however you wear it and if you have more than one you can use one around the neck and one on your head. They look pretty cool and tend to generate quite a bit of interest from various people when they see the functionality of the product.

after years of a chill wind blowing through my neck and down my back here is the answer to keeping warm as toast and it can be worn as a hat son why not buy two? makes a great gift for your fellow cyclists as well!

It is just so cosy and warm. I use it for my daily commute and I should take it skiing this winter as it works both for the neck and as a hat.

great for stopping that north wind from the Arctic going down the back of your neck when in the drops. The hat will be a hit apres ski in a a couple of months. A versatile product

Absolutely in love with this item. Mainly use is as a buff and snugs nicely and warm to your neck. The garment is big enough to cover neck and face on those cold rides. Also it looks really cool. Have been machine washed several times and still look great

Does what it says on the tin! Just be aware that the fleece liner only comes about a third of teh way up, to enable the headband to be rolled up. It also is not a full wind proof, but is ideal for teh bike where you want some cooling, but also some protection from the elements.

Generally, you get what you pay for. This is an expensive hat. Similarly, it is an expensive neck warmer. However, it is not expensive considering its dual function, quality construction, comfort and design. A must!

The idea of this hat is fantastic... This is the third hat I have as I almost have all the colors..They wash great and as I have had them for a number of years they still look great.... A big recommendation ... A quality product. And Thank you Always Riding for a fast service... Brilliant

Sometimes you have to spend more to save more! This is true with this seemingly expensive hat. The design and quality are great and I am sure it will give good service in the long term and result in a bargain.

Everyone should have a couple. So classic. So iconic. And it does a lot of things: keeps the neck warm in cold weather; covers the head at stop for a cortado; keeps the post-ride chill away. I've got one on hand all the time from November - March.
