The Etxeondo Magnet Jacket is a fully rain repellent, Windstopper Soft Shell cycling jacket for the cyclist in need of a no compromise cold and rainy solution this season. Featuring a full front zip with internal storm flap, flat seams throughout, two front side pockets, reflective touches for low light visibility, and one large waterproof zipped rear pocket; it's a perfect go-to cycling jacket for hard rides in damp and blustery conditions down to around - 5 degrees. Riders will appreciate typical Etxeondo attention to detail, like the nicely finished elasticated cuffs which fit superbly, and at the neck, the high, fleece lined collar.  Spanish brand Etxeondo have been in the business of creating performance cycling wear since 1976, and are perhaps most well known for their sponsorship of Pro Tour Team Euskatel and clothing the shoulders of the mighty Miguel Indurain during his time at Banesto. To this day, the entire range, (apart from some accessories which are made in Italy), is still designed and produced in San Sebastian, where the company first started. Etxeondo have a solid reputation for making only the highest quality apparel, designed for the most demanding cyclists, whether they ride road or mountain. 真冬に最適

購入して1か月余り。特に寒さの厳しかった今年の東京には、最適のジャケットでした。5年前に買ったアバラスカでは寒く感じてきたので購入しましたが、防寒面ではそれほど劇的な効果はありません。しかし、まず出会わない希少なデザイン、上質な素材、フロント側の２つのポケットに十分に満足しています。アバラスカはMサイズでかなりタイトでしたので、今回はLにしましたが、身長１７５ｃｍで８２ｃｍのウエストの我が身にはやや大きめ。エチェオンドのジャケットはMとLの中間がベストなようです。
注文から荷物の到着まで10日間、でもAlways Ridingさんのちょっとした気遣いがあり、うれしい限りです。

Top quality winter jacket
Size comment: "True to size"
Fit and finish on this jacket are superb. IMHO, a step above anything available from Assos. Only shame is that it's the middle of summer right now - roll on winter!

Has a really nice fit and quality feel.Has a real style about it and actually looks as good as the picture, something a lot of advertising shots fails on. Been out in the wet weather and it kept the rain out. Highly recommended!

Thanks for the question - The Magnet is Etxeondo's warmest cycling jacket, and is designed to operate best in temperatures from around 10 °C down to -5 °C. Paired with a thermolite baselayer like the Iluna as the first layer, and you would have a great cold weather solution.

Etxeondo sizingEtxeondo apparel is sized for a fitted look, but not so much as the Italian brands. Therefore, follow the sizing chart with confidence, but if you do want a little extra room, then feel free to go up a size.
*For an accurate glove size, please measure around your palm, placing it flat and making sure to exclude the thumb (don't chop it off), then compare your measurement to the chart above. If it's a close call, go one size up or down depending on the result.
