Touring adventures and after work excursions: New Brooks Panniers

Sat next to my desk in the Always Riding HQ is a delivery of the new Brooks Panniers range. First to arrive are the John O'Groats and Land's End front and rear panniers; a new venture for us and a new adventure of you. Brooks has always been a go to for quality craftsmanship and a partnership with Ortlieb has only advanced the technical details of the range. The Brooks panniers are made in Germany with the touring and practical experience of Ortlieb but with the heritage materials and expertise of Brooks. They are ideal for touring but a single right rear is equally happy on the nine to five.

The new Brick Lane roll up panniers are perhaps suited to the regular commuter and occasional tourer. Clever fixings and Mary Poppins style storage make them a perfect accompaniment for shopping trips; a true bag for life.

Brooks has also introduced the Bluesign system to its textile production. The process eliminates harmful substances from the manufacturing process and ensures environmentally friendly and safe production. The new Dalston rucksack features Bluesign textile; the brick color is an office favorite.

Practicality has not been overlooked with laptop compartments, handy interior pockets and clever fastening systems featuring throughout the range. Brooks' new line, with the clever additions of new fabrics and Ortlieb's contributions, is equally eye catching on or off the bike without compromising on durability or practicality.

About the Rider: Danny
Always Riding's super domestique - just as happy helping you up a climb and feeding you a flapjack (his dietary staple) as writing content and editing pics. If not at his desk he can be found lurking in the storeroom gazing at new stock intake or plotting an over ambitious camping, cycling or hiking trip.
