![]() The Hirzl Grippp Tour SF Glove is the Swiss brand's first entrance into the cycling glove market, and their unique perspective has led them to create one of the grippiest cycling gloves available, all thanks to the natural kangaroo leather palm and an elaborate tanning process that gives up to 3 times more grip in dry conditions, and up to 5 times more grip in wet conditions. In addition to the natural leather palm, the Hirzl SF is enhanced with an extremely light gel padding system, whilst the wrist is cleverly shaped to provide unhindered wrist flexibility for alternating between drops, top bars or bar ends (people still use those right?) mid ride. Easy to remove and highly resistant to day to day use, they are the ideal cycling glove for road riders, commuters, tourers or trail riders, such is their versatility.

![]() Swiss brand Hirzl has been doing things the 5-finger way for years, choosing to focus on their core glove strength and passion instead of breaking out into different apparel areas. Rocking Kangaroo leather palms finished with an elaborate tanning process, the Hirzl Grippp Gloves are designed with one thing in mind - Grip. Ok, maybe two things, because in use the Hirzl gloves not only give superior cockpit control in all conditions, but supreme comfort to boot. HIRZL created and developed their proprietary GRIPPP™ technology to help achieve unparalleled levels of grip and control on the bike in all conditions. Hirzl state that their GRIPPP™ technology delivers up to 3 times more grip in dry conditions and up to 5 times more in wet or severe weather conditions than any other cycling glove, but in addition, also provide high levels of water repellency, wear resistance and sweat absorption. ![]() "The funny thing is, it's not marketing nonsense. These are remarkably grippy whether your handlebar is dry or wet. The palms are leather- kangaroo leather, to be precise - and they're very supple. Hirzl reckon they put the leather through 'an elaborate tanning process' and give it a 'special treatment'. They're short on details - that stuff is given out on a 'need to know' basis, apparently - but they say their technology gives the gloves up to three times more grip in dry conditions, and up to five times more when it's wet. Now, I'm not going to be drawn on a figure - we don't have a gripometer here at road.cc - but these gloves don't slip. Soak the palms and drench your bar tape or grips and they stay put. In terms of grippiness, they deliver. Hirzl actually developed their technology for golf. I don't know a lot about golf, admittedly, but I guess it would be bad news all round if your bat slipped out of your hands mid-swing." Verdict: Supple and very grippy gloves, well made with slimline padding - 8/10 If you have bought this product, why not write a review and help other riders to make an informed choice. Supple, comfortable and surprisingly durable. And yes, it's gripppy! Got an in depth product question, or want to ask something else related to this product? Whatever your question, simple post it here, and we'll answer you faster than a speeding bullet.
Please advice to me the clean method.

Thanks for the question - you should use a soft damp cloth dipped in warm water and mild soap to clean the leather. For the less sensitive uppers, again, use a cloth, but this time with a little more soap and water. Afterwards let them dry naturally, but not in direct sunlight to avoid hardening the leather.
