The cornerstone of Vermont based Ibex’s bike collection is their passion for Merino Wool. Whether you ride road, hit the trails or commute by bike, Ibex clothing is a revelation.
Breathable, soft, anti bacterial & highly comfortable: you can simply enjoy the ride & forget about what you’re wearing. From their ultra fine baselayers, through to their mid weight cycling jerseys, Ibex is a brand for all seasons.

Some review products we grow to like over time. Some we grow to hate. And some, like the Ibex El Fito Wool Knicker ($120), we absolutely love from the very first pedal stroke. The Merino wool El Fito is a great three-quarter biking pant for chilly spring and fall days, and milder days in the dead of winter. Unlike some road pants that aren't tough enough for the trail, and some mountain bike bottoms that are too bulky for the road, the El Fito is a great choice no matter what kind of bike you're riding.

Warm and comfortable. Great for cold and wet UK winters. But just starting a second season of moderate use and they are already wearing through at the seams where they contact with the saddle. Seems a lot of money to pay for clothing that wears out so quickly.

I really like these. A perfect alternative to lycra bibs if you want something a bit more relaxed. Have worn in 0 - 10 degree conditions so far and been very comfortable. The fit is great - they don't slip - and they are superbly well made. Great for regular commutes: they don't stink because of the merino and so you can longer without washing -honest! Great with the Solo Equipe jersey.

So far l've got quite a few merino items. By far this one of the best made and comfortable ones. The fit was perfect and attention to detail brilliant. Ok they're 75 quid but you simply wont regret spending the money here. Despite the picture on this website (sorry AR) its actually a very nice looking bit of kit too.

These are a very nice pair of 3/4 length cycling tights. They are far more substantial then a pair of lycra tights, yet much more comfortable during the ride. Temperature has stayed nice and warm while riding. The wicking and thermoregulation properties of the wool help to avoid overheating while working hard, and also prevent getting chilled when stopped. As the weather has been rather nice so far this autumn in North Wales, these tights have not been fully put to the test, but I feel they will handle winter weather fine. My only gripe is with the waistband which slips a fair bit. This may be a result of sizing. I am right on the cusp of a XL or a L, but as only XL's where in stock I went with the bigger pair. The overall fit is great, but some extra elastic in the waistband may have been useful. Overall this pair of tights re-enforces my very high opinion of Ibex and their products. If you don't own any IBEX apparel yet, do yourself a favour and get some.

These are the best shorts I have ever owned. The temperature range you can wear them is amazing. Fit is fantastic, fabrics superb, very well made. I'd highly recommend these to anyone who does miles on a bike.

Have been looking for a 3/4 that would be usable both for road racing and single speed these are it. Great fit, the fit guide is spot on. These keep you warm but not overly warm. If it was good enuf for the sheep its good enuf for a hardy Scotsman. Good addition to any cycling wardrobe.
