Designed exclusively for Ibex's bike shorts, knickers, arm and leg warmers, this fabric is made with New Zealand Merino wool, a small amount of nylon for extra strength, and Lycra® to make a garment that fits snugly and moves with you. Wool provides the greatest temperature regulation, especially for stop-and-go sports like cycling. Midweight, soft, durable and machine washable.

 Good Quality - shiny bottom !

These are good quality shorts. The pad is not the greatest but works ok for me. I usually ride 3 hours or so and its fine. I prefer the retro look to shiny lycra but beware the crotch and lower backside area are a very shiny grey material, which you cannot see on the photos. You cannot see the shiny bits when on the bike though.

The only warm cycling shorts that I have found to Finnish winter riding.I would have given 5 stars if they were all merino wool.They have some small parts made of fleece which are not so warm as merino wool parts.
