Personal shopping has arrived It was harder to implement than attempting to peel a grape whilst descending the Tourmalet, but last week we launched an exciting development that creates a personalised shopping experience for every visitor to Always Riding. Personalised shopping, what is that? Well, let's say you are looking to buy a new cycling jersey. After clicking though a few choices, you might head back to the main page where you would see a new area called 'recommendations for you'. In this area, you could for example see a couple of jerseys, bib shorts, socks or even gloves. These results are appearing because the site has noticed what you are viewing, and compared your behaviour to other visitors that may have either clicked the same items, purchased them, or any one of a number of variables. By using this intelligence gathered from thousands of other visitors, you are presented with choices that you may not have considered, choices that will hopefully improve your shopping experience and result in a purchase that fits your needs and expectations exactly.
