The POC Octal AVIP Helmet might on the surface offer what you would naturally expect from any other pro level bike helmet - think light weight, ventilation and aerodynamics. However, the guys at POC have also focused deeply on the science behind visibility and protection to create custom colours, whilst cleverly devising a new helmet shape topped off with ICE compatibility for additional safety.
With any cycling helmet of course, safety is key, something the POC Octal takes in its stride with increased head coverage and a fully wrapped uni-body shell designed to enhance both safety properties and crash integrity. Despite increased coverage a large only weighs in at a barely-there 205 grams - one of the lightest lids we've ever seen. Big ventilation slots and an interior specifically designed to allow more air through the helmet are a great help on really hot days, whilst temperature regulating padding and an ultralight size adjustment system help to create a secure, individual-specific fit.
Available in an array of dashing colours, the Octal helmet in attention grabbing orange, part of the AVIP concept you will see throughout the POC range, has been specifically designed for its visibility against a variety of backgrounds (orange being the most visible colour on the road, bar none). Reflective detailing to aid low light visibility and a sunglasses garage complete the helmet.
