It's the best! Apart from being simple but stylish the Mapp Tech fabric and Merino Wool lining keep out wind and water without letting you overheat. Just had a great cyclocross ride in the Vienna Woods wearing it - watch the video! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=skxhgmzkhKo

Hot yet cool jersey
Size comment: "Runs large"

Had this jersey a while now & it only gets used on very cold rides as its just so warm. Wearing well & still looks great, just make sure you get a size smaller than normal.

Good quality, nice retro style & much more wind proof than it looks. Used this top at 5 degrees with only two thin base layers & it was perfect. Sizing is on the large size so go for a size smaller than normal, I am a 38 & went for the small which is still plenty big enough.

Hmm - I'd bought this in anticipation of a fitted, warm mid-layer but found the cut to be more like a jacket - those looking for a tight fit might want to consider the next size down. Sleeve length was just fine though - unlike the ape-like arms on some Italian clothing. The fabric is warm but it's certainly not that windproof - OK above 10 degrees or so, but might be a chilly if colder. There are two big pockets on the back - but they gape a bit - perhaps three pockets would provide more security for your kit? A nice reflective edge to the zip, but nothing on the back? - a reflective / reinforcing tape along the top of the pockets for example. In summary, a good training top, with timeless / retro-styling but loses a point because of looser than necessary cut and need for improved pocket design IME.

Top quality jersey, worn it a few times now and its nice and warm. Lovely feel around the collar when fully zipped up! Finish is first class. A couple of inches on the sleeve length would have been better but thats about it. Will not hesitate to purchase from this company again.

The solo range are noted for its quality and this jacket does not disapoint on that score. I got the white version and it looks great although I expect its better for leisure wear rather than biking on a hot day. Also I like to have a zipped pocket for keys, phone ect and this top doesnt have one but thats just my preference. The back pockets are large enough for most items for a day ride including a light weight water proof top and spare tube. Its quite expensive but I think the quality of finish and materials make it worth it and It should last for ages.

Very cool looking, neat fit and warm too. Not windproof but if I am honest I did not buy it for that reason !

Simple Equation: Solo Equipe + Ibex El Fito's + Bike of choice = Happy Rider. I can see what the other reviewer means about the slightly loose fit but this product is designed to be different and retro. And it feels great on and off the bike. Perfect with a thin baselayer this morning at 10 degrees. Great value in the sale, good sizing advice from AR (38" chest went for a medium).
