![]() Rouleur [Ruloer] n.m Fr.- a cyclist who 'rolls' easily, a rider for the flatter races and often the team's captain. Rouleur is a bi-monthly magazine published by Rapha Racing that showcases the beauty and drama of the world's greatest sport. From issue one, their ambition has been to provide a deeper insight into road cycle racing and their approach to documenting the sport is unlike any other publication on the newstand. Rouleur is now an award-winning magazine, receiving acclaim from reviewers and readers alike, because it portrays the sport in ways that have never been attempted before. Unflinching and unique, Rouleur consistently uses the best writers and photographers in the business and the results are presented in a magazine of unparalleled quality. Contributors include The Guardian writers William Fotheringham and Matt Seaton, as well as Graeme Fife and former Clash road manager Johnny Green. Among the photographers are John Vink and Guy le Querrec. Rouleur Ltd have also begun to publish books in addition to the magazine, of which the excellent Le Metier by Michael Barry and Camille McMillan is the first to see the light of day. ![]() "Beautiful reportage photography is only half of the Rouleur Annual - the narrative passages eloquently explain the sensibility of each of the races covered in its pages. It’s no surprise the Annual is fabulous to look at, but its other achievement is to immerse the reader in the sweat, pain, colour, mud, speed and charm of road racing. Quite simply, it makes you want to get on your bike and ride it."
