  The SealSkinz All Weather Cycle Gloves are fully wind and waterproof, highly breathable and very comfortable during long sessions on the bike. Suitable for road, city or trail riders, the palm includes nicely placed pressure point padding, whilst the braking finger tips are silicon dotted to aid grip in the wet. A terry wipe on the thumb takes care of nose duties, and at the wrist a high quality velcro closure system completes the glove. Mid-weight, they are neither too bulky nor too light.
 Based in the UK, SealSkinz® have have neatly solved the problem faced by every cyclist who rides in the rain; that of cold and wet hands and feet. Thanks to their patented membrane system, SealSkinz® socks and gloves are fully wind and waterproof, yet so completely normal to the touch that you would think nothing special was going on at all. How does it work? SealSkinz® socks and gloves use a type of membrane called hydrophilic ("water loving"). Hydrophilic membranes are totally solid, without pores. It is therefore physically impossible for droplets of liquid water to pass through the membrane, however, it is breathable because water vapour molecules are transmitted from molecule to molecule through the membrane on the polymer chain and expelled on the other side. The driving forces are the differences in humidity and temperature between the atmospheres on each side of the film. The internal climate, next to the skin, is hot and humid because the body is generating heat and moisture as it exercises. The external climate is much drier and cooler. Consequently water vapour is driven from the inside of the garment to the outside. As the foot gets hotter during an activity, so the film becomes more efficient at expelling moisture. Testing, testing.. SealSkinz® know that riders need confidence in their equipment, that is why every single SealSkinz® product is tested before it leaves the factory, with the sock or glove mounted onto a machine which subjects it to water pressure. If any product leaks, the item is rejected and diced. Every SealSkinz® product is therefore guaranteed to be 100% waterproof. The waterproof film can withstand 10psi of hydrostatic head pressure, the equivalent of a column of water 700cm high standing on the fabric surface. These are by far the best gloves I have tried! Breathable and waterproof they claim and so far i can only agree. Great fit, comfortable and not bulky. Another well received birthday present :-)

Dont hesitate, these gloves are fantastic! Windproof and breathable yet waterproof enough to cope with the worst conditions. They arent the warmest but they arent the bulkiest either. I particularly like to silicon patches which come in very useful for grip and pressure relief. They do come up a little small, i am normally a large and had to go for xl but aside from this i have no complaints whatsover.

I'd would be happy to recommend these gloves. They do what they say they will. Excellent grip and wind proofing, but not the warmest gloves on the market. My only complaint is the elastic at the wrist is unnecessary and I think, a little on the ugly side. Size-wise; I found these gloves come in a little smaller than some other manufacturers; (I usually fit between large and medium and I had to go large on these.)
