True to size

this jersey is all-right, but given its price, it should be 100% merino. It certainly doesn't smell bad as quickly as pure synthetics, but it smells more than pure merino.

Bought it as a christmas present for my father. Looks and feels nice. He complains about his old jerseys which smells bad quickly and Sportwool should be better.
Only the cuffs at the arms feels veryt tight.

I have worn this jersey extensively, as both a jersey on its own, as a base layer and with a light baselayer underneath it, depending on conditions. Last weekend I raced a cross race in it as well with a team jersey over the top of it. It fits well, the sportwool is very comfortable, wicks well and regulates the temperature well and despite falling off in it and many washes, it looks as good as new. Not cheap, but good value in the long term I reckon.

This jersey has become the most worn item in my cycling wardrobe... The full length zip is a huge improvement on the original 1/4 length.. Its an outer garment on cool days, base layer in winter... result.. Got an in depth product question, or want to ask something else related to this product? Whatever your question, simple post it here, and we'll answer you faster than a speeding bullet.
Hi, i wear a XL TwinSix jersey and it fits me great (not too tight). What size would you recommend in this jersey?. Thanks.
posted by Kristian Jackson on 20th November 2010
Thanks for the question - I would recommend a large, as the fit of the Training Jersey is a little more 'Sportive' than the Twin Six tops - which are quite fitted. However, if you prefer a little more room, you could of course try the XL, but you may find it slightly too long on the body compared to the Twin Six XL.
