![]() Solo cycle clothing was formed by two friends who loved the styles worn by the pro-riders of the 1950's - 1970's. Simple, powerful designs which demonstrated that less is more. They searched worldwide for clothing that had the flair and emotion of that age. Nothing existed. It was then that they realised that there must be other cyclists who felt the same. So the two friends decided to put their cycling and design backgrounds to good use and create something special: cycle clothing that made you want to ride - rain or shine. Taking their inspiration from the great riders, grand tours, equipment and cycling culture of that golden era, Solo's mission is to produce the most beautiful cycling jerseys in the world - jerseys made for like-minded souls. We think they've succeeded. Just like those classic jerseys, Solo jerseys are about more than wearing a sponsors logo on your chest. Each jersey has a story to tell - your own story of epic rides, punctures, road grit, stinging rain in the eyes and sweeping downhill in warm winds. Solo believe that cycling culture is much more than crossing the finish line first. It is about ethics, determination, companionship, spirit, honour, mystery and brotherhood. It is about how you feel heading home after spending the day on your bike. Or the post-training espresso with cycling friends who have shared the hardship of the road.

I often ride with knickers (3/4) but with these and a bib short I keep my knees nice and warm and also have the added flexibility. If it's getting to hot, just stash them in your jersey!

Absolutely brilliant!
I'm used to feeling my knees ache quite considerably after a long ride in the cold, even with tights on, and these things seem to have put an end to that. I have quite large thighs, and the size L fits extremely well - no marks on the skin, no bunching, no sagging and no slipping at all. The material is comfortably warm next to the skin, without being sweaty or clammy at all and I can't recommend them highly enough. They are pricey, but worth every penny in my opinion. They are extremely well made and seem like they'll last forever, with no deterioration in performance/fit after the first few washes.
Also, ordered on wednesday, delivered on thursday, so the service is second to none too!

Good quality,Good fit and good looks, what else could you want from your cycling clothing? I am sure these Merino knee warmers will become a favourite during the cooler days of riding.

Buy a size smaller and you'll love these, snug as a bug in a rug, even when it is freezing. Very areodymanic and keep your muscles warm.

Lovely pair of knee warmers, great fit, dont get too baggy after a long ride, keep you warm when wet, look good, dont slip too much. Buy them!
Only get 4 stars due to the lack of reflective piping on the back - Solo arm warmers have a long strip of reflective on the back so why not a bit on these?

Great pair of knee warmers for the colder conditions. The merino keeps you warm and the water resistant exterior keeps you dry. The branding is subtle but they're a little pricey.

Solo Knee Warmers have proved to be invaluable in the run up to Winter. A great combo of natural Merino wool on the inside, with a more durable synthetic on the outside. My legs are pretty large, but the medium's are a perfect fit. When my arm-warmers need replacing, I will definitely look into getting a pair of Solo's. Thanks guys!
