In order to explain how the No Rain technology works, let's pretend you have just taken a a peach out of some water, notice how it is completely dry? That's the peach fuzz at work, those tiny little hairs on the outside that make the water bead. This in the simplest terms, is how No Rain technology works, but obviously compared to ol' peachy, the 'hairs' are completely invisible to the eye.
In the real world, when you are next riding through the rain on the bike, you will not get wet, the water will just bead off. Stop though, and eventually the water will come through. However, the bonus of the No Rain fabric is that because it's not a treatment, the warmers are machine washable.
