Vulpine is a new UK urban cycling brand that is set apart through distinctly British tailoring, innovative fabrics and classic design. The guys behind Vulpine are a passionate lot - influenced as much by time trialling as by XC or sportives, all of which shines clear in their first collection. This is clever, rider designed apparel at its best, and whether you wear Vulpine for the city commute, weekend spin or relaxed road session, it is sure to be a rewarding ride.

I've been riding around in these trousers for the past few weeks and am very pleased with them. Temperatures here (Canada) have been ranging from freezing to slightly past ten degrees and the conditions have been mostly wet, slushy and windy. I wore them for a three hour ride in the hills outside of town with a pair of padded shorts underneath and was very pleased with their performance.
As far as the fit goes, they are very comfortable. I'm especially sensitive to pressure exerted from the waistband, which is eliminated with these as they are high waisted and the tabs eliminate the need for a belt. The fabric has a nice lengthwise stretch and the fit through the legs and seat is quite snug, but loose at the waist. I have the Medium trousers and find that these run true to size, with a cut suited to cyclists' legs.
They look great off the bike, especially paired with my Vulpine Harrington jacket (another terrific bit of kit). They do, however, make a swishing noise. Also, the fly could have been made longer for added pub/coffee stop convenience. They're extremely well made and have many nice appointments... let's see how long they last!
