Carradice

The Carradice story began back in the 1930s, when a young Wilf Carradice fashioned a saddlebag for himself, and discovered to his delight that it was far better than anything else available. In a narrative that would seem familiar to many similarly established brands of recent years (in Carradice terms, let’s call that 20 years), such as Chrome Industries, or Restrap, friends soon asked for copies, and so began the Carradice bags story.

Still handcrafted in Lancashire to this day, Carradice bags have gone from being the favourite of clubman & touring cyclists in the 40’s & 50’s, to the Brompton-compatible bag of choice for today’s city cyclist. They of course still remain the preferred luggage of the hard riding tourer of old (or perhaps not so old).
