Do cyclists, like cheese, improve with age? Most of us have probably come across that steely, sinewy cyclist of a certain age who is rock hard and may well overtake you on a sharp incline. This is the type of bag we would expect that cyclist to have (although theirs would probably be a few decades old yet still going strong).
The Chester frame bag is the ideal option if you are looking for a traditional-style frame bag for your touring/audax bike. The bag fits easily and securely to the bike with two straps attaching to the top tube and one to the seat tube, secured with sturdy adjustable-length leather straps with button stud fastenings. It can be left on the bike permanently, or taken off and carried round (it comes with a handy detachable shoulder strap). The bag has a moderate two litres of capacity and is made of the super-durable 100% waterproof cotton duck fabric.
Each Carradice bag is individually handmade in Nelson, Lancashire and is a beautiful piece of craftsmanship that will keep on going… just like those unstoppable old tourers!

Returns are really simple. We include a pre-paid returns address label inside every package, so if you would like to return something to us, just make sure to send it back up to 60 days after you have received it. Please note that we will retain £2 from your refunded amount to cover the cost of the return service.
We really hope that you love your new bike or frame, 'cos what's better than a new bike? (Answer: two new bikes...). But, if you do have to return it, then please contact us beforehand. You'll have to cover the cost of shipping the return to us, but apart from that, as long as it comes back to us in the same condition we sent it out to you, then all will be fine. Read more here.
