As the nights draw in and the temperatures drop, having the right kit for winter cycling can be a great motivator for getting out on the bike when you might rather roll over and curl up under the duvet. Ornot’s autumn/winter range for 2017 includes updated arm and leg warmers and thermal bib shorts as well as a gorgeous orange thermal long sleeve cycle jersey (available in both a men’s and a women’s cut), plus matching socks and water bottle to complete the look.
Ornot are well known for their cool cycling jerseys and the new Code Orange thermal jersey does not disappoint. Its eye-catching nautical-flag-alphabet-inspired design isn't necessarily what you would expect on a cycling jersey but we think it really works stylistically! The jersey’s fleece-lined fabric feels soft and luxurious against the skin and is just what you need when the mercury drops. The rest of their winter cycling kit is equally well thought through - this year they have added DWR (durable water repellent) finishes to their thermal bibs, arm warmers and leg warmers, so as well as offering protection from the cold they will also offer some protection from mist, fog, road spray and light rain. The bib shorts are based on their regular bib short design (one of the best bib short designs we have come across) and utilise compression fabric (fleece backed in this case) and a Cytech Elastic Interface chamois. Colder weather riding-wear designed and used by real riders.
As a final note Ornot recommend going up a size on the jersey if you prefer a more relaxed fit or want more space for layering up. Check out the range below and as usual get in touch if you have any questions.
