Dilapidation, graffiti, abandoned spaces. Not typical subjects for the traditional urban photographer. But then Serdar Ozturk (better known by his Instagram-alias Trashhand) is not your typical photographer. Taking a unique perspective on the urban landscape, with a particular focus on the hidden and forgotten spaces in cities, Trashhand’s photography is striking and immersive. Trashhand has been making waves in the photography world since he first arrived on the scene a few years ago. His visually stunning, highly unusual cityscape shots draw out the compelling and the striking from what might otherwise be considered mundane or desolate. No wonder he has 600,000-odd followers on Instagram.

Trashhand x Chrome

To launch the new Niko F-Stop Camera Backpack, Chrome invited Trashhand to hang out with them in LA. The resulting collab video is packed full of interesting footage of hidden spaces in LA and some nice philosophising on photography from the man himself. Watch the full video above and find out more about the Chrome Niko camera bag range below.

The Chrome Niko F-Stop Camera Backpack

The Chrome Niko F-Stop is an update to the popular Niko Camera Pack. The Niko F-Stop retains the original Niko's robust, weatherproof construction, comfortable fit and clever organisational design which have made it a favourite amongst shutterbugs and professional photographers alike.

Key updates include more pockets for storing spares and accessories and redesigned shoulder straps to offer a comfortable fit for a wider range of sizes and body types. However the main change is the movement of the opening of the main compartment from the front to the rear of the bag, this making access easier and more secure.

With its low-profile, unassuming appearance and use of design features you would also find on one of Chrome's regular bike bags, the Niko F-Stop is ideal for street, action and adventure photographers. Read more about the bag here.

The Chrome Niko Hold Sling

The Niko Hold Sling is a brand new addition to the Chrome Niko camera bag range. A compact option ideal for holding a DSLR, spare lens and flash, the bag uses the same customisable dividers as the other Niko bags. It can be used as a standalone shoulder bag or inside another bag as a neat way to convert it to a camera bag. Read more about the bag here.

The Chrome Niko Messenger Bag

The Chrome Niko Messenger Bag has a messenger style strap with quick release seat belt style clip. Similar in size to the F-Stop, this is a good option if you want a larger camera bag but would prefer it in an over-the-shoulder style.

The Chrome Niko Camera Sling (see below left) is another smaller camera-specific bag from Chrome. It is a bit like a camera-specific version of their Kadet Sling Bag and is a nice option for minimalist urban adventuring.

The Niko Camera Strap (below right) is a super strong strap with two mini buckles which allow you to use it in a short or long configuration.
