RedWhite The Bibs Long Distance Short

A superb long distance bib short developed to cater for the rider looking to accomplish regular big miles in plush, luxurious comfort, The Bibs from start-up RedWhite are aiming for centre stage (or rather centre drawer) in your cycling collection.

Tailored with an Open-Cell chamois with three layer multiple foam architecture, this highly supportive chamois is a revelation on the road, offering a surprisingly firm feel to the hand, which on the bike translates to a perfect balance between long ride support and comfort.

Free of leg seams, The Bibs also do away with overly-eager leg grippers in favour of silicone microdot grippers laid over a soft lycra hem. M.I.T.I. lycra is employed for the bib body, low cut to the front to ease pressure on the belly. Wide cut, shoulder friendly bib straps complete the bib.

I bought these based on reviews and a recommendation.

I have only been on 3 rides so would hold off on a full, long term review, but they are living up to the hype. A perfect fit and at least a match for my Castelli Free Aeros and Rapha Team Issue bibs. Far better value than the Raphas. The Castellis can be had in sales so a long term test is to be required before deciding on best value there.

I've been a satisfied user of Assos since the 1980s but these Redwhite bibs equal or even beat them on comfort and value for money. The insert is deeply padded but not intrusive, construction is top notch, the cut is perfect for me and the stretchy nylon-based fabric fits like a second skin. I'm 5ft 10in, 68kg and 33in waist and medium is an exact fit - just slightly tighter than Assos medium. I have long legs and they come up mid-thigh - not too long, not too short. The microdot leg grippers are really secure and prevent any chance of the legs riding up and causing bunching in the crotch area. I've used these shorts so far on a couple of 60-mile-plus rides and five or six 20 to 30-mile rides and have not been aware of any rubbing or pressure points. I intend to buy another pair.

This is a premium quality product. The fit & sizing are perfect and becomes more comfortable with every ride. I wear these bib shorts on most rides and when I don't I miss them. I will get a 2nd pair so that I have a pair to wear at all time. Can't say much more as most reviewers have said it all. I would certainly recommend these to any cyclist.

Only had these a week and have already made their way to preferred shorts!

Simply so comfortable for longer rides. Well made and look like they will last!

I got these for long distance cycle touring.

Firstly the delivery was mega-quick - turning up 2 days later, even during Xmas wk!
I bought these for my partner - in his quest for the holy grail - perfect fitting, comfortable bibs. He is 6'2 & slim. Size large fit him perfectly - & he gave them a couple of tries 1st to make sure he was keeping them before soaking them in cold water for 24hrs, as required. After his first ride in them I waited to hear what was wrong this time (this being his 5th pair in approx 12mnths) but all he said was how comfy they were.
The seams are all flatlock stitched with a quality, substantial-sized pad (slightly stiff before being soaked but 'dead comfy' on that 1st ride) -it is ideal for the long-distance bikepacking that they are intended for. The legs have microdots of silicon gripper on the hem - plenty enough to do the job well without any pinch. As a tall slim guy, he often struggles between gaping on the legs if he goes large enough for his height, or shoulder straps cutting in if he goes small enough for his slim build. These, however, seem to fit exactly as they should - snug, without pinching or pulling anywhere.
These are excellent value for money - nice-looking, good quality, comfortable bibs.
The bf is already saying he wants another pair of the same -can't be bad!
