Description

Description

It’s not uncommon knowledge that Tom Ritchey has been making frames for a long time. Ritchey’s frame and component building and manufacture was led by his desire to create kit that was better than what was currently available at the time. Eventually Tom found his way into manufacturing mountain bike frames, with the first frame dubbed Timberwolf appearing in 1984.

A long way from 1984, this Timberwolf is designed to be built around 650B wheels and a 140mm fork. The geometry is aimed squarely at the “Trail” category of mountain biking (AKA all-mountain, enduro or I don’t like boxes I just want to ride). Whatever classification you put the Timberwolf into, Ritchey picked the geometry to be fun. No false performance promises – just a frame built to be enjoyed for years to come.
