The Silca Ultimate Frame Pump, or the SuperPista as it is also known, takes a simple part of your ride routine, grabs it by the velvet collar and asks - 'Hey amigo, are we going to do this properly, or what?'. Operating smoothly and consistently with a luxury feel that simply demands an extra 'just for kicks' plunge, the Ultimate Frame Pump may well be eye-wateringly pricey, but it's going to be in the family so long it will deserve its own portrait above the mantelpiece.
Weighing in at 3.2 kilos, the SuperPista is a lot heavier than most other floor pumps, but for good reason. The most common cause of damage to floor pumps is mid-thrust knock down (we've all been there), so Silca’s flagship pump has a floor plate, that although only 4mm thick, weighs more than most complete pumps. This super stable platform is cleverly designed to sit well with all sorts of cycling shoes. Breathe a sigh of relief clippy-cloppers.
At this level of quality, it's all about longevity, and to this end, the Ultimate utilises a magnetic chuck dock to ensure a long small parts life, and an industrial grade gauge accurate to 1% psi. In fact, everything about the Ultimate Floor Pump was designed with the finest available materials and craftsmanship in mind. Thankfully it was also made from them. As a case in point, even the hose is made from over-engineered rubber; the very same that lines the brakes in racing cars (a direct benefit of Silca's Indianapolis base), and the hard anodised piston rods are comparable to those in MTB suspension.
Contrasting with these high-tech materials are the little touches that reveal Silca’s heritage. The leather washer that moves air inside the 2.5mm thick main barrel and the hand turned rosewood handles hark back to the pumps Silca was making back in the 20s and 30s.

Returns are really simple. We include a pre-paid returns address label inside every package, so if you would like to return something to us, just make sure to send it back up to 60 days after you have received it. Please note that we will retain £2 from your refunded amount to cover the cost of the return service.
We really hope that you love your new bike or frame, 'cos what's better than a new bike? (Answer: two new bikes...). But, if you do have to return it, then please contact us beforehand.
