Large platform pedals optimised for urban riders, the Grand Cru Sabot Pedals from Velo Orange are ideal for regular around town riding. They have a generous 10x10cm platform and dual-sided design with 12 traction pins on each side to provide grip.
Velo Orange specifically designed the pedals to work with thin soled shoes (including espadrilles and minimalist running shoes) - this includes giving the pins a more gentle rounded profile rather than the sharper more aggressive pins typically found on pedals for MTB riding (however this type of pins can be swapped onto the pedals if preferred).
The pedals are really high quality, with a CNC cut aluminium body and three sealed bearings (two inboard, one outboard). These give the pedals a smooth feel, more like what you would find on a high end road pedal. The bearings and pins on the pedals are both replaceable.

Returns are really simple. We include a pre-paid returns address label inside every package, so if you would like to return something to us, just make sure to send it back up to 60 days after you have received it. Please note that we will retain £2 from your refunded amount to cover the cost of the return service.
We really hope that you love your new bike or frame, 'cos what's better than a new bike? (Answer: two new bikes...). But, if you do have to return it, then please contact us beforehand. You'll have to cover the cost of shipping the return to us, but apart from that, as long as it comes back to us in the same condition we sent it out to you, then all will be fine. Read more here.
