On the face of it Felice Gimondi’s 1976 Giro d’Itlaia victory, and the 1989 patent of the first Speedplay pedal have almost nothing in common. However, the Vittoria 1976 Evo is a back-to-the-future inspired, transatlantic mash up of a shoe that blends Gimondi’s panache with 1990s American inventiveness. With comfort prioritized, this Speedplay specific road shoe offers a retro style for a new generation of riders.
The 1976 Evo varies from the 1976 Lorica thanks to a direct 4-bolt cleat mount drilled into the UV carbon footbed. Designed specifically for Speedplay cleats, the sole of the 1976 Evo allows a lower stack height and enhanced comfort by maximizing Speedplay’s flexible float. The flat, UV Carbon sole marries stiffness and comfort on rides of countless pedal strokes, and the micro fibre upper and lace closure system offer adjustability and ventilation.
Vittoria shoes size small so consider sizing up. If you need further size advice please contact us.

We really hope that you love your new bike or frame, 'cos what's better than a new bike? (Answer: two new bikes...). But, if you do have to return it, then please contact us beforehand. You'll have to cover the cost of shipping the return to us, but apart from that, as long as it comes back to us in the same condition we sent it out to you, then all will be fine. Read more here.
